Sources we publish
- Customer-submitted text or video collected through MadeThis’s Testimonial.to form and selected onto our public Wall of Love there. The Wall of Love selection is synced to this site automatically (new selections typically appear within an hour).
- Customer stories already published on MadeThis-owned pages with attribution.
- In the future, source-specific ratings from external platforms, clearly labeled and linked to that platform.
What publication does—and does not—mean
A published review means the submission was eligible for display under this policy. It does not mean MadeThis independently verified every performance claim in the customer’s words. When we can verify customer status or a linked business, we may add that context separately; we do not silently turn it into a broader endorsement.
Editing policy
Synced Testimonial.to reviews are shown in the reviewer’s own words, in full; the only processing is technical (normalizing whitespace and line breaks). Curated customer-story cards may use an excerpt from a longer published story; an excerpt never changes the reviewer’s material meaning or removes a substantive caveat. Story cards may also carry an editorial five-star marker reflecting the flagship status of the published story — these markers are assigned by MadeThis, not submitted by the customer, and are excluded from the published average rating, which is computed only from customer-submitted ratings. The source link is included on every card so readers can inspect the collection context.
Moderation policy
We may decline or remove content that contains:
- Personal data, credentials, or private customer information.
- Threats, harassment, hate speech, or illegal content.
- Spam, impersonation, or feedback unrelated to MadeThis (submissions flagged as spam by Testimonial.to’s moderation are excluded automatically).
- Claims we know are fabricated or materially misrepresent the reviewer’s relationship with MadeThis.
Critical sentiment is not, by itself, a reason to reject a review. Constructive complaints and mixed experiences can be published when they meet the same rules.
Incentives and relationships
MadeThis does not condition an incentive on a positive review. If a reviewer received a material incentive, is an employee, or has another relationship readers would reasonably want to know, that relationship should be disclosed with the review. Reviews currently shown on this site are not labeled as incentivized.
Corrections and removals
A reviewer may request an attribution correction or removal through MadeThis support. We may also correct a source label, broken link, or factual statement added by our editors. Material policy changes will be reflected on this page.
